Samsung's Gear 360's EPIC impact on Google Street View - Have we seen the last of it?




Welcome to the world of Google, where 360° street views and tours were practically born.
Just years ago this was a brand new market. Stakes were high and so were the equipment
prices. In an environment like this stars are born and along came Samsung's 360° single
shot picture solution - the Gear 360 camera.

Straight out of the box the Gear 360 synced up with the Google Street View mobile app and
allowed the user to interact with Google Maps on a whole new level. With this portable
and easy to use combination it enabled Maps user's to power threw multiple shots and upload
new worlds of data seamlessly.

With technology moving so fast and manufacturers hammering out promotions to push
their flagship products in no time the consumer market became flooded with cheaper than retail
360° equipment. With high demand and a growing market camera manufacturers were
already improving brand names and designs.

Priced to compete and out ranking the Gear 360 in nearly every category new evolution
cameras and video capable devices like Ricoh Theta and 360fly were on the market. These
competitors also boasted Google compatibility and quickly took rank in the 360°
consumer market.

Today, right now at the end of 2019 the consumer market is looking at literally dozens of
different style 360° cameras and features. Camera's that are capable of 360° can also be
marketed as Virtual Reality or in some cases 3D. Some camera's offer a view other than
360 x 360 (a full sphere) which can be confusing and even misleading to new consumers.

With competitors 360° camera's walking all over Samsung's Gear 360 for well over a year
is there any chance Samsung can even remain in the game? Even with an impeccable reputation
Samsung would have to prove the same user friendliness and brute force strength in a new model
capable of more than what is currently being offered. Have we seen the last of Samsung's epic impact on Google Street View submissions?

Paypal's Fraudulent Practices - Defined

  It started innocently enough. I made a purchase on eBay that was less than stellar so I returned it. That’s where all the troubles began…….. While checking my email routinely I noticed a contact email from the eBay member I just made a purchase and return through. The email was regarding the returned merchandise and the associated USPS tracking number. The seller claimed I shipped the parcel back to the wrong address. How is this possible? – eBay provides the return shipping label online at a click of the button. I logged into eBay and retrieved the tracking number in question. I looked it up on the USPS web site and I compared the ship from and the ship to address of the seller. The seller’s claim was accurate, eBay’s return label did not send the package back to the seller, instead it send it to what appeared to me as the sellers last know address. Becoming a Google Guide, Google Trusted Pro, and/or Google Street View Contributor

Perhaps there has been a time you were at a really cool or unique location and witnessed "Google", or someone wearing weird "Google" brand-style clothing (Trusted Pro logo is very common), taking pictures or using cameras and mobile technology to record at a site.
